Colin Ferguson is good in anything and deserves to be a bigger star.

I was so bored that I was inspired to compose quite the rant. But then the Christmas spirit came over me and I deleted it. I just need to remember my calming mantra - “not the target demo, not the target demo”.

Le père Noël (2014)
It was going for a Home Alone Christmas adventure vibe I think? A young boy catches “Santa” as he attempts to burgle his apartment and then accompanies Père Noel for a mini Christmas crime wave.
Not as charming or fun as it thinks it is but not bad.

Holiday Engagement (2011)
Fake fiance trope. That said there were a few funny moments and the cast punches above the film’s weight class. This may be the best bang for the buck so far this season - most enjoyment per dollar of budget, since I actually found this pretty watchable and it looks like it was made with the change reclaimed from the producers' couch cushions.
